Shed Styles
Shed styles at Mast Mini Barns can go well beyond the basic shed. From the 8’ Pro Series to the Klassic Studio, each design exists for a specific reason, and we can build any of them for you in the size and finish that suits your property and your budget.
Gambrel Shed Styles
The High Barn and Dutch Barn barn-style buildings feature gambrel rooflines. These are working buildings with higher walls. They are popular with property owners who need substantial storage or a dedicated workspace.
Pro Series
The Pro Series buildings offer and an affordable alternative to costly monthly payments at a self-storage rental unit. We usually have a variety of these buildings in stock and ready for delivery.
High Barn
The High Barn gambrel roofline is a curved roof profile that gives you significantly more headroom than a standard gable roofline shed. A gable roofline is the usual roofline for single dwelling houses in western Pennsylvania and eastern Ohio. The gambrel roofline makes loft installation practical in any size storage shed. A High Barn is good for lawn and garden equipment, ATV and Golf cart storage, workshop setups, and any use case where you want vertical space. High Barns are available in footprint sizes from 8x8 to 16x48.
Dutch Barn
The Dutch Barn shares the gambrel roofline with the High Barn but adds 6’6” side walls. The Dutch Barn comes standard with two 21x27 windows with stylish shutters and bug blocking screens. More wall clearance means more usable floor space before the roofline cuts into your standability. If you’re parking a riding mower or setting up a workbench with pegboard wall space, the Dutch Barn gives you more room to work. Dutch Barn sizes range from 8x8 to 16x48.
Gable Shed Styles
Traditional houses in western Pennsylvania and eastern Ohio are built with the gable roofline.
Cottage Workshop
If your yard has a traditional feel, and you want the shed to match the house, the Cottage Workshop may be the right answer. Cottage Workshop sizes range from 8x8 to 12x24, and features a clean roofline at 5/12 pitch with no curves and no dormers, just a well-proportioned gable profile that looks at home in most residential backyards.
Carriage House
The Carriage House roofline is a hybrid roofline between a traditional gable and a lean-to rooflines providing elegance and more hight for the main entrance. The 18” overhang over the main entrance gives this shed style a modernized saltbox look. The Carriage House style doubles as a pool house or a garden shed.
Cottage
The Cottage is the Cottage Workshop with taller side walls. That extra wall height matters if you’re mounting tools, installing fluorescent shop lighting, or building shelves that need to stay above shoulder height. This shed is a good choice for your backyard workshop, cabin, man-cave, or she-shed.
Portable Garage
Our Portable Garage models are available in Cottage, Dutch Barn, and Cape Cod rooflines with optional roll-up doors in 8-foot and 9-foot widths. The storage shed is ready built to house your compact tractor or one-ton pickup.
Chalet
With an 8/12 pitch roof, the distinct peaked roof profile and dormer characterizes the Chalet shed style. The Chalet stands out in a yard. This shed style doubles as a pool house or a workshop.
Cape Cod
We build your shed your way. The Cape Cod is our most customizable shed. This shed can accommodate our many add-ons and options. You can add a porch or a dormer to your shed.
Klassic Studio
The Klassic Studio may be purpose-built for backyard offices and man-caves/she-sheds. The standard package for the Klassic Studio includes larger windows and higher side walls. The Klassic Studio is designed to feel less like a shed and more like a room.
