Shed Delivery
Shed delivery and installation at Mast Mini Barns is handled with our mule system - a purpose-built machine that places your building precisely where you want it, without the need for cranes or heavy equipment that would damage your yard.
The mule goes anywhere a pickup truck can go: through gates, down narrow drives, around corners, and across soft ground. Before we arrive, your site needs to be a hard, level surface - 4 to 6 inches of packed limestone or compacted gravel is ideal. Clear the path from the road to your placement site, and remove any trees, fences, or obstacles beforehand. Our driver will have minor blocking materials on board for small on-site adjustments.
Site Requirements
You don’t need a concrete pad or a permit to receive a delivered shed in most PA and OH jurisdictions. Here’s what we do need:
- Access path cleared — no overhanging branches lower than the building height, no parked vehicles blocking the route
- Reasonably level ground — we can accommodate minor slope with blocking, but significant grade changes need site prep first
- Cleared placement area — the building footprint plus 12 inches on each side for our crew to work
The Delivery
We deliver across a wide service area in western Pennsylvania and eastern Ohio. Regular delivery routes cover Meadville, New Castle, Butler, Erie, all of Mercer County PA - Sharon, Hermitage, Grove City - in PA and Youngstown, Warren, Cleveland, Akron, and Ashtabula in Ohio. Our authorized dealer locations in Geneva OH, Albion PA, Parkman OH, and Sarver PA extend our reach further into both states.
A quick pre-delivery checklist: confirm your site is hard and level; verify a clear path from the road; and check with your local township or borough about permit requirements before we arrive. Permit rules vary across Mercer County and neighboring municipalities. We can provide engineered drawings at no charge if your municipality requires them.
Delivery from any of our dealers is included within a 25 radius for standard orders. Longer distances may carry a per-mile charge. A delivery to Hermitage or Sharon adds no cost. Deliveries to Pittsburgh, Cleveland, or Akron may carry a per-mile charge.
