When your building is ready, getting it onto your property safely and correctly is just as important as building it right in the first place. Mast Mini-Barns handles portable shed delivery and setup using a mule delivery system which is a purpose-built machine that can navigate tight spaces, uneven terrain, and narrow access paths that a standard flatbed truck simply can't reach. If a pickup truck can get there, our mule can get there.

What the Mule System Can Do
Our mule delivery system is designed specifically for placing portable buildings. It can navigate through gates, around corners, down slopes, and along paths that standard delivery equipment can’t handle. This means we can reach the back of your property, the side yard, or a spot tucked behind your garage - wherever you need the building placed.
The driver handles minor blocking as needed on arrival. If the site is close to level and the surface is solid, placement is typically a smooth process.
Site Preparation - Your Responsibility
Before we arrive, your site needs to be ready. Here is what we require.
Surface: The building needs to sit on a hard, level surface. We recommend 4 to 6 inches of packed limestone or gravel. This reduces the risk of settling and protects the floor system over time. We can set a building on grass if you request it - but doing so will void your warranty. For full warranty coverage, a solid gravel or concrete pad is required.
Access: We need a clear path to your building site before we arrive. Trees, fences, or other obstructions blocking the path need to be removed ahead of time. If you’re not sure whether your access path will work, call us and describe it. We’re happy to help you think through it.
Permits: Some Townships and Boroughs require permits before a portable building can be placed on a residential property. We recommend checking with your local municipality before scheduling delivery. If you need engineered drawings for permit purposes, we can supply those free of charge.
Delivery Area
We deliver to Greenville, Sharon, Hermitage, Grove City, Meadville, and communities throughout Mercer County and the surrounding region. Delivery to eastern Ohio and western Pennsylvania including Cleveland, Akron, and Pittsburgh is available.
What Happens on Delivery Day
On the day of delivery, our driver will arrive with your building. The driver team will assess the site, confirm placement with you, and position the building using the mule. Minor blocking will be handled on-site as needed.
We ask that someone be available on the property during delivery to confirm final placement before the driver leaves. Once the building is in place and you’re satisfied with the location, you’re ready to start using it.
