Pool House Construction - Greenville, PA & Mercer County

A pool house does several things at once. It gives swimmers a place to change. It gives you a place to store pool equipment, chemicals, and accessories out of the weather. And when it's built right, it becomes a natural part of your backyard, a structure that adds to the property rather than just sitting on it. Mast Mini-Barns builds pool houses to the same standard we hold every structure to: solid framing, durable materials, and close attention to detail at every step.

What Goes Into a Pool House

Pool houses are typically built to accommodate one or more of three things: changing space, storage, and entertaining or utility functions. We work with you to determine what your pool setup actually needs and then build accordingly.

Changing space needs proper doors, adequate interior height, and the right footprint. A cramped changing room that’s awkward to use won’t get used. We size and configure the interior so it works practically for the people using it.

Storage for pool equipment, chemicals, floats, and maintenance tools requires adequate floor area, proper ventilation, and durable flooring that handles wet feet and chemical spills without deteriorating. Our treated plywood flooring and LP SmartSide siding handle moisture far better than standard wood construction.

Entertaining and utility functions, a small bar area, a mini-fridge alcove, an outdoor-facing serving window, or a changing bench with hooks, can be incorporated into a pool house build that’s sized and planned for it.

Siding & Finish

Pool houses are available in painted LP SmartSide, painted DuraTemp, or vinyl siding in a range of stocked colors. A metal roof is a popular choice for pool houses. It handles moisture and heavy weather better than shingles over time, and the standing seam profile looks clean alongside a pool setting.

Windows, service doors, and custom door configurations are all available. We’ll make sure the layout and the finish match your property.

Placement & Site Prep

Like all of our structures, a pool house needs to sit on a hard, level surface. A concrete slab or a properly prepared gravel pad is required for full warranty coverage. We’ll talk through site preparation with you before the build begins.

Permits may be required depending on your Township or Borough. Mast Mini-Barns can supply engineered drawings free of charge when they’re needed. We recommend checking with your local municipality before ordering.
