Playhouse Construction - Greenville, PA & Mercer County

A well-built playhouse is one of the best things you can add to a backyard. It gives children a space of their own and a place to imagine, to play, and to spend real time outside. Mast Mini-Barns builds an 8x12 Chalet which doubles as a well-built, safe playhouse. Custom sizes, painted finishes, and window options available.

Mast Mini-Barns builds playhouses using the same quality materials and structural standards that go into our full-size sheds and barns. Because a well-built playhouse is a safe playhouse, and the children using it deserve the same craftsmanship we’d put into anything else we build.

Custom Options

Size is flexible. A small, cozy playhouse for a young child can be built quite compact. A larger playhouse designed for older children with enough interior height to stand in, a small loft, or a dedicated porch needs more footprint. We’ll help you figure out the right size for your yard and your kids.

Windows and doors are available in the same range as our full-size buildings. Windows with screens let fresh air in and keep bugs out.

A porch is a popular add-on that extends the usable space and gives the playhouse a charming exterior. Our porch options include composite decking, vinyl post and railing, and a 4-foot loft above the porch area.

Paint colors are available across our full stocked palette so the playhouse can match your home exterior, contrast it, or be whatever color your child picks.

Placement

A playhouse is a portable building like any other. It needs a level surface compacted gravel or a concrete pad keeps the floor system stable and protects the structure over time. A playhouse placed directly on grass or soft ground can settle unevenly and will deteriorate faster than one placed properly.
